Do you need an eye examination?
It is recommended to have an eye exam as early as 5 months old, especially if the baby is not
looking with both eyes (eyes turning in or out). School age children should have yearly eye
exams because their eyes change most dramatically as they grow. Young adults age 20-40
should have an exam at least every 2 years, yearly if wearing contact lenses. People over the
age of 40 need exams yearly again as near vision begins to change and eye disease becomes
more prevalent. The doctors at Vision Faire are trained to detect eye disease, refract for perfect
comfortable vision in glasses and contact lenses, and co-manage laser vision correction.
