We can fit low vision aids. Low vision aids can be very helpful to people who have poor
vision due to macular degeneration or other eye diseases. These aids may enable the
person to read again. Other low vision devices enable people to drive again, depending on
how much usable vision the person has.

Low Vision Aids
Is there something in my eye? Did I scratch my eye? Do I have "pink eye"? Why is my
eye red? Often it is quicker and less expensive to see us than going to the emergency
room. Our doctor can see you and determine what your red eye problem is. If it is "pink eye"
(bacterial conjunctivitis), antibiotics will be prescribed. If there is a foreign object stuck in
your eye, we can often take it out. If the problem is serious, we will refer you to the
appropriate specialist. Be sure to tell the appointment staff person that you need an
appointment right away for a red eye problem.
